We are a small amateur kennel, which means,
that we occasionally breed our dogs, with only one purpose in mind,
and that is to preserve and strengthen the breed characteristics
in our breeding programme. We breed primarily because we want to
keep a puppy from that particular combination. All the other puppies
are placed into approved homes. With that goal in mind, we maintain
a waiting list long before the actual mating has been performed,
and we keep close contact with the future owners in the time before
and after the puppies are born, in order to provide as much information
to them as possible- especially to the newcomers to the breed. We
do not discriminate our prospect buyers by their social or any other
status, except by their capability of providing our puppies the
best home possible.
We are always available to the new owners in
providing assistance or advice regarding raising and proper care
of their boxer, since wee feel responsible for the puppies well
being from the day they are born, until the day they move across
the rainbow bridge. In those rare cases in which one of our puppies
needs a relocation, we reserve ourselves the right by contract,
to take the puppy back, and find him a suitable home.
When deciding about mating our females, we
primarily search for a medically tested, healthy partner, and only
the candidates who comply to those terms, are chosen to be the sires
of our litters. Exterior-wise, we do not chase the latest winner
or currently popular stud. Instead of that approach (which is sadly
the most common one in "modern" breeding, especially among
the newbies), we try to find partners which correspond to our females
best in their type and also through their bloodline. We prefer the
older, "classical" bloodlines, especially those descending
out of the great "trio" of Carlo v. Henningshof descendants:
the sons Xeno v. Glockenbergen and Carlino v. Nassau Oranien, and
out of Carlos' grandson Bruno v. Morsbach.
Our breeding goal consists of a wish and determination to breed
as perfect Boxer as possible, according to the demands of the breed
standard: medium sized light-athlete, whose plastically carved steel
muscles flow under the tight, dry skin and who possesses strong
but not heavy bone, a firm back, an elegant neck, and a classically
sculptured noble head with a high forehead, lively nicely opened
dark eyes and a nice expression. Our boxers excel in their stable
character and lively temperament.
